Break Up Monopolies
Monopolies are becoming ubiquitous in our lives and even in ways we don't expect. We see the results of monopolies when we only have once choice for an internet provider, when news media is so consolidated that there are no dissenting voices, when farmers are under the thumb of agribusiness, or when Wall Street became "too big to fail" so we had to bail them out with taxpayer dollars.
Walmart has led to the decimation of small towns, but gigantic tech companies have made Silicon Valley into the playground of the rich. The splintering of large companies into smaller ones will benefit the average worker as there will be new employment opportunities available as well as new markets required of them. This will also benefit consumers as there will be more robust competition in the marketplace.
